The Mattsee, Obertrumersee, Grabensee and Wallersee lakes are in the immediate vicinity.

Many other lakes are just a short drive away. The Hildegard von Bingen Centre is located in Kirchberg itself. In Mattighofen, nine kilometres away, you can visit the KTM Motor Hall. The city of Salzburg with all its highlights can be reached in 30 minutes. Nearby (ten minutes by car) is the holiday resort of Mattsee with a beautiful public lido including boat hire. Here you will find two nice hotel restaurants on the lakeside promenade. One of them has an open fire and a view of the small yacht club. We also recommend the Stiftskeller with its sheltered garden. Designed for adults - therefore unfortunately not suitable for children and pets.
