Wooden house to slow down

The cozy wooden house was renovated in 2017 with a lot of love and the use of natural materials (clay plaster throughout the house, box-type windows).
Since then, it has been constantly growing into a place of peace and relaxation. Immerse yourself in a mixture of old and modern and still enjoy a certain comfort.

Maximum occupancy 5 - 6 persons.

The accommodation
Our house exudes simplicity and unpretentiousness. Wherever possible, old furniture has been and will be restored and used again. On the ground floor is the spacious kitchen with an old wood-burning stove and the living room with a cozy tiled stove. Both stoves provide pleasant warmth in the transitional period and in winter. The separate WC and bathroom with shower and storage room are also located on the ground floor.

A steep staircase leads from the spacious entrance hall to the 1st floor with the 3 bedrooms. One room with a double bed, a walk-through room with a single bed and a large room with 2 single beds which can be converted into a double bed (1.80 m long with footboard).

Upstairs there is also a cozy reading corner with books and a table and chair for working.

The terrace is sheltered behind the house. A staircase leads to the fireplace and the garden. This area can be viewed by our very friendly neighbors.

Further important information
The plot of over 900 m2 offers plenty of space to relax. There is also a snack garden with raspberries and wild strawberries as well as all the usual kitchen herbs. Wood is freely available in the woodshed.

The Roman cycle path from the Inn to Attersee passes right in front of the house.
Very beautiful bathing lakes in the surrounding area: Attersee 45 km, Irrsee 40 km, Mondsee 45 km or Mattsee 40 km. Smaller quarry ponds such as the bathing lake in Wildenau or Pramet can also be reached by bike. The nearest town is Ried im Innkreis 10 km away, Salzburg and Linz are both 60 km away. The Spa Resort Geinberg can be reached in 15 minutes and offers a very nice relaxation oasis with a large sauna area. There are golf courses in St. Johann am Walde and Haag am Hausruck. Lohnsburg is 3 km away with an excellent bakery and shopping facilities.
