Every year, Ischl’s artisans invite you to their traditional Christmas market at the Trinkhalle. Look forward to authentic “handmade” goods from the Imperial City, typical culinary delights, and an atmospheric and varied program of events.

Far beyond the borders of the Salzkammergut, Ischl’s artisans are renowned for their mastery in combining beauty with practicality. That is precisely what is meant by “artisan craftsmanship” in Ischl. An art that is cultivated here in its most beautiful form and presented during Advent in the pre-Christmas atmosphere of the elegantly decorated Trinkhalle. However, when Ischl’s artisans say “present,” they mean much more than simply displaying their works. What awaits you at the Christmas market is, rather, a sensory experience that engages all the senses: sight, smell, taste, and hearing.

Music Program: Music in the Trinkhalle begins at 3:30 p.m. each day, with the exception of the opening on November 20.
