Magical Advent in Hinterstoder

Traditionally, on the first weekend of Advent, the center of Hinterstoder is decked out in Christmas decorations. The large Christmas tree and the warm glow of candles and lanterns set the mood for the most contemplative time of the year. Let yourself be enchanted by the festive atmosphere, illuminated by the fire pits, as you stroll among the lovingly decorated booths run by local clubs, regional businesses, and artists. The handcrafted treasures range from nativity scenes, ceramics, beaded and silver jewelry, and fashion accessories made of wool, felt, and fabric, to woodturning, woodcarvings, and children’s toys. Also on offer are game products, bratwurst, Holzknechtspatz’n, raclette bread, liqueurs, cookies, herbs, honey products, cards, pictures, door wreaths, floral arrangements, health products, and much more. In the cozy parish café, delicious homemade pastries are served with coffee.
