Advent in Mondsee invites you to explore, enjoy, and linger. At the festively lit market square, regional delicacies, warming drinks, and music create a special atmosphere.
In the Gothic cloister of Mondsee Castle , vendors showcase high-quality arts and crafts, one-of-a-kind handmade items, and unique gift ideas.
There’s plenty for families to discover, too: The Children’s Advent offers a varied program and makes Advent in Mondsee an experience for young and old alike.

• 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.: Christmas program by the Mondsee State Music School in the Betchor—zither class (and diatonic harmonica) led by Fabian Steindl, MA
• 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Grand opening of the Advent market with the Lorenzer Weisenbläser
• 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.: d’Feiafisch Musi

• Afternoon: Pony rides at the Children’s Advent event (weather permitting)
• 3:00 p.m.: Town and church tour with Austria Guide Georg Obermeier; meet at the Christmas tree
• 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.: Hochkreuz Musi
• 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Jugendklang from Oberwang
• 6:00–7:00 p.m.: Saxbladl
• 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.: Saxbladl
