Almfest Wurzeralm with Night of the Mountain Fires - a festival for the whole family

On Saturday, June 27, 2026, the traditional Almfest will take place on the Wurzeralm. Here, customs are cultivated, laughter, singing, dancing and much more. Children (and adults too) can have fun and experience exciting things at numerous stations.
A varied live musical program provides the framework. Including the Xandis and the Fetzenplattler.

Night of the mountain fires as the highlight of the Almfest

Breathtaking and undoubtedly the highlight of this year's Almfest will once again be the traditional Night of the Mountain Fires. Members of the mountain rescue services of the Pyhrn-Priel region will light the "Peter and Paul fires" on the surrounding mountain peaks at 10 pm. Accompanied by upbeat music, this creates an atmosphere that you are unlikely to forget for a long time. The last descent on the funicular takes place at midnight, and there are also discounted prices on the day of the event.
