Hiking Brings People Together—Making a Difference Together on the Danube Resonance Trail

The event is part of the “Hiking Brings People Together” series. Hiking adventures invite participants to discover the Danube region of Upper Austria together. The focus is on experiencing nature, regional highlights, culinary delights, and exploring the hospitable communities together.

We’ll set off together at 10:00 a.m. (long route) or 2:00 p.m. (medium and short routes)— with an official opening and welcome right at the trailhead. That’s also where you’ll find the hiking passport: Anyone who participates in four “Hiking Brings People Together” events will receive a surprise prize. After all, hiking together isn’t just about building connections—it’s also about being rewarded.

The hikes, which include guided exercises, are led by social workers; please bring your own food for the hikes. Afterward, we cordially invite you to wind down the day comfortably at the hotel with delicious food and drinks!

Medium Danube Resonance Trail Loop: 7.7 km – walking time approx. 2 hours
Short Danube Resonance Trail Loop: 4.5 km – walking time approx. 1.5 hours
