Interactive Storytime with Michaela Freund: Zippi the Goat

Interactive storytime followed by brunch for children ages 2 and up, when accompanied by an adult.

Join Zippi on an exciting adventure! Salzburg-based author Michaela Freund presents her interactive storybook *Zippi, the Goat* and invites children ages 2 and up to a special storytime.
Together with the curious goat Zippi, the young visitors set off on a journey through mountains and valleys. It’s not just about listening—the children get to actively participate, help Zippi, and help shape the story.
A special highlight is the handmade felt play mat, on which the scenes from the book are acted out together. This brings the story to life for the children and allows them to fully immerse themselves in Zippi’s world.
The idea for Zippi came to the author while reading aloud to her own son. She realized how much joy children get not only from hearing stories but also from being part of them. This experience led to a lovingly designed interactive book that playfully invites children to participate, discover, and read together.
Through reading aloud, storytelling, and active participation, language development, imagination, and a love of books are naturally fostered. At the same time, the shared reading experience between children and their families takes center stage.
