Enjoy the evening sounds of Trachtenkapelle Ramsau directly in front of the Schützenheim/Probelokal. This year the musical youth will also perform their skills.
Snacks will be provided.

About Trachtenkapelle Ramsau

The brass band corrently consists of 58 musicians (including leader and four so-called Marketenderinnen), 16 of them ladies and 26 musicians under 30 years.
The dress of the musicians is a black hat, brown uniform skirt, red body, black knee breeches with green neck. The girls wear a specially designed traditional costume. Three bandmasters supervise the brass band.

From this traditonal brass band the following three little brass bands are forming for various music events: The Ramsauer Blas, the Ramsauer Quartett as well as the Ramsauer Tanzlmusi.

Music - a lived tradition

In the Holiday Region Dachstein Salzkammergut, music plays an important role, especially in the cultivation of customs. Thus there are numerous music bands in Bad Goisern, Gosau, Hallstatt and Obertraun, which organize their own concerts and also accompany all important events in the villages.

A well-known musician in the region is Hubert von Goisern. He has his roots in Bad Goisern at Lake Hallstatt and this is also reflected in his music.
