The Anton Schosser Hut at 1,158 m above sea level is an idyllic spot in the National Park region of Ennstal and an ideal destination for hikers and nature lovers. The hut is named after the Upper Austrian homeland poet Anton Schosser. From the sun terrace, one can enjoy a magnificent view of the Upper Austrian Alpine foothills, while regional organic products provide culinary delights. Whether as a starting point for hikes, as a cozy base for overnight stays, or as a winter paradise for ski tours and snowshoe hikes - the hut, which is open all year round, offers relaxation and adventure amidst stunning nature.

Accessibility / arrivalOn foot from the valley (Trattenbach, Losenstein or Reichraming) in just over two hours.
Accessible by mountain bike (or a longer hike) also from the Steyrtal (Molln).
Access via Losenstein to the last parking lot (fee required) on the Hohen Dirn and then just a 30-minute walk on a forest road to the hut (suitable for strollers).
Parking spaces are managed using license plate recognition (video camera). Upon your return, you must enter your license plate number at the parking meter and pay the parking fee electronically only (e.g., with a card). Cash payments with coins are not accepted.
