The ascent from the main road is rather unknown but extremely rewarding. It's a nice, hilly route with short, steeper sections and for the most part quite runnable past the Lärchenhütte. From Salzburg on the B158 or from Bad Ischl
Public TransitTo the bus stop Reitsiedlung then along the road to the starting point. Alternatively, walk to St. Gilgen and back.
