On horseback through the Mühlviertel - a journey to herbs, churches and culture
The starting points for this unique riding tour are Waldburg, Hirschbach or Schenkenfelden.

The trail leads through the gently undulating landscape of the Mühlviertel, past fragrant herb fields where lavender, marigold and other medicinal plants exude their aromas. Along the way, you will encounter venerable witnesses to the past: the centuries-old Gothic church in Waldburg invites you to linger and marvel. Also characteristic of the region are the typical Mühlviertel Stoabloss houses, whose striking stone facades tell stories of times gone by - quietly but impressively situated along the way.
