From Freistadt, you start directly at the Hotel FREIGOLD and ride north along quiet side roads, gravel and forest paths into the Mühlviertel border region. After Rainbach, you cross into the Czech Republic at Český Heršlák and enjoy secluded gravel passages through forests and wide landscapes. You reach the Lipno reservoir via Studánky and Vyšší Brod, where a short break on the promenade or a quick coffee by the water awaits you. Afterwards, the route takes you back to Austria via alternative paths and forest roads, resulting in a varied circular tour with new impressions.
